This is Shacklewell directors' home in Walthamstow. When purchased, it was a rental property.

There was already a side-return extension at this Victorian Villa in Clapton, which was full of charm and character but not particularly habitable when the client approached Shacklewell Architects to design a new extension to replace the old one.

The client, an illustrator, works from home and had been working from a small room in her maisonette flat in Stoke Newington.
